The Japanese manufacturer for music instruments KORG for the first time in 2000 introduced a series of arranger workstations called KORG Pa Series.
These workstations target primarily professional musicians in the field of all-round entertainers or for studio recordings.
The PA series, similar to YAMAHA’s TYROS, stands out due to realistic sounds and rhythms. These have been recorded by professional musicians and are therefore of high quality providing more realistic sounds.
With the basic model Pa50 KORG takes up the Triton series and targets amateur and professional musicians equally.
In the field of high-end products KORG expanded its Pa series with the PaX models equipped with the latest arranger technologies mainly intended for studio use.
This generation is equipped with attributes of the Triton workstation, the Pa80, with TC Helicon’s Vocal Harmonizer as well as the typical RX technology.
The technical characteristics of the PaX series were continuously developed and improved.
In 2011 the Japanese manufactuer has launched its new flagship – the Pa3X.
Introduced as a professional entertainer workstation, KORG offers sound reality and an improved usability.
This model is available as a 61 and 76 key variant and was especially adapted for the German market with the Musikant version.
Next to the adaptations for YAMAHA TYROS, since December 2013 GEERDES media offers respective adaptations for the KORG Pa series.
